About this program
The New Jersey Entrepreneur Support Program (NJESP) helps emerging NJ businesses grow by subsidizing a portion of wages for new full-time hires. The program is administered by the NJEDA and targets early-stage companies that demonstrate growth potential. Awards are based on the number of qualifying employees hired and payroll generated in New Jersey.
Eligibility
New Jersey-based businesses in early-stage growth. Must have a qualifying NJ employee and demonstrate growth potential. Partnerships and LLCs are eligible.
Requirements
- Business must be based in New Jersey
- Must have at least one qualifying full-time NJ employee
- Application submitted through NJEDA
