About this program
The East Side Building Fund is a joint fund supporting community-driven revitalization of mixed-use commercial districts on Buffalo’s East Side. Grants assist targeted building and site improvements such as stabilization, facade renovation, and interior upgrades to commercial and mixed-use buildings.
Eligibility
Eligible building owners, developers, nonprofits, and small business projects in targeted East Buffalo commercial districts.
Requirements
- Project must be in the eligible East Side geography and involve eligible commercial or mixed-use improvements
- Submit application, project budget, building documentation, scope of work, and community benefit information
- Comply with grant agreement, matching, reimbursement, and project completion requirements
