West Virginia's Brownfields Assistance Centers support communities, developers, and partners with brownfield assessment, planning, redevelopment guidance, and periodic grant or technical assistance resources for contaminated and underused properties.
Eligibility
Eligible West Virginia local governments, nonprofits, developers, property owners, and community partners working on brownfield redevelopment projects.
Requirements
- Contact the appropriate Brownfields Assistance Center for project intake
- Provide site, ownership, environmental history, redevelopment plan, and funding need information
- Meet eligibility, environmental assessment, cleanup, and reporting requirements for any grant support
