About this program
The Athens Downtown Development Authority Micro Revolving Loan Program provides small business financing to eligible business owners within the ADDA boundary. After credit review, downtown businesses may obtain loans for fixed asset acquisition, including land, buildings, machinery, and equipment, as well as working capital. Loan proceeds may not be used to refinance existing debt or for lines of credit, and businesses must remain in the downtown district during the repayment period.
Eligibility
Small business owners within the Athens Downtown Development Authority boundary may apply for microloan financing for eligible business purposes.
Requirements
- Business must be located within the Athens Downtown Development Authority boundary.
- Loan proceeds must be used for eligible fixed asset acquisition or working capital.
- Loan proceeds may not be used for refinancing existing debt or lines of credit.
