About this program
Operation Homefront's Critical Financial Assistance program provides short-term financial help to eligible military families for critical needs such as rent, utilities, food, vehicle expenses, home repairs, medical needs, and other essential bills. Deadline notes: Applications are accepted when the program is open and funding is available. Notes: National program included because active-duty service members with dependents are explicitly eligible under program criteria.
Eligibility
Eligible active-duty service members in qualifying ranks with DEERS-eligible dependents, and other eligible wounded, ill, injured, or veteran families under Operation Homefront criteria.
Requirements
- Submit the online application with military status documentation, household income, bills or repair estimates, proof of need, and other documents requested by caseworkers.
