About this program
The Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development offers standard tax abatements to qualifying companies that create jobs, invest in the state, offer required wages and health benefits, and generate significant out-of-state revenue. Abatements can reduce sales and use tax, personal property tax, modified business tax, and recycling-related real property taxes.
Eligibility
Qualifying companies registered in Nevada that meet job creation, wage, investment, health insurance, and revenue-source requirements.
Requirements
- Apply to GOED before making a location decision or qualifying investment
- Meet statutory requirements for jobs, wages, capital investment, health benefits, and Nevada operations
- Receive GOED Board approval and comply with annual reporting and performance requirements
