Small Business Technical Assistance (SBTA) Grant Program
Grants to nonprofit organizations that deliver advising, resources, and access to capital for Massachusetts small and microbusinesses, including retailers. Funded organizations provide one-on-one technical assistance, workshops, and pathways to financing.

Eligibility
Grants awarded to nonprofits including certified Community Development Corporations (CDCs), Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), and other nonprofits with established small business technical assistance programs. End beneficiaries are small businesses with fewer than 20 employees and revenues under $2.5 million.
Requirements
- Applicant must be a Massachusetts-based nonprofit, CDC, or CDFI
- Must have an established community-focused small business technical assistance program
- End-beneficiary businesses must have fewer than 20 employees
