Minority Business Enterprise Loan Program
Provides low-interest direct loans to certified Mississippi minority- and women-owned businesses.
About this program
The Minority Business Enterprise Loan Program provides direct low-interest loans to socially and economically disadvantaged minority- and women-owned businesses certified through the Mississippi Development Authority. Loans are made through planning and development districts and other approved lending partners to help new and existing minority businesses access needed capital.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are certified Mississippi minority- or women-owned businesses that are at least 60% owned by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals meeting Mississippi residency and net worth requirements.
Requirements
- Business must be certified by MDA's Minority and Small Business Development Division.
- For financing, business must be at least 60% owned by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals.
- Eligible owners must be Mississippi residents.
