Louisiana DBE Certification – Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DOTD)

Federal DBE certification for socially and economically disadvantaged small businesses working on USDOT-federally-assisted projects in Louisiana; administered by DOTD for most of the state (New Orleans area applications via NORTA); ethnic minorities are presumed to meet the social disadvantage standard; personal net worth of each eligible owner must be under $750,000.

Eligibility

Small businesses at least 51% owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, including ethnic minorities; owners must have personal net worth under $750,000 (excluding ownership interest in the firm); for-profit business performing transportation-related work.
