About this program
Area-E at the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez is a CDBG-DR-funded small business incubator and accelerator that provides free training, mentoring, technical assistance, and networking to help small businesses become viable and sustainable.
Eligibility
Small businesses and entrepreneurs in Puerto Rico, including Mayaguez-area applicants, especially businesses affected by Hurricanes Irma or Maria or created from post-disaster needs.
Requirements
- Apply through Area-E when enrollment is open
- Provide business idea or company information, stage, needs, and contact information
- Participate in training, mentoring, and technical assistance activities
