State certification pathway for New Jersey LGBTQ+-owned businesses seeking procurement and supplier-diversity opportunities.
About this program
New Jersey's LGBTQ+ Owned Business Enterprise certification verifies eligible LGBTQ+-owned businesses for supplier diversity, procurement visibility, and business opportunity access. The state has waived the normal certification application fee indefinitely. Deadline notes: Applications are generally accepted on a rolling basis. Notes: Certification is not cash funding, but it can support access to contracting and supplier-diversity opportunities.
Eligibility
New Jersey businesses that are at least 51 percent owned, operated, managed, and controlled by LGBTQ+ individuals and meet state certification requirements.
Requirements
- Submit the state certification application with ownership documentation, business formation documents, tax and registration information, proof of LGBTQ+ ownership and control, and any professional licenses required for the business.
