About this program
Caddo Parish’s Small and Emerging Business Program provides certified small and emerging businesses with contracting and purchasing opportunities, educational opportunities, and networking support. The parish recognizes reciprocal certifications from the City of Shreveport, SBA 8(a), Louisiana Economic Development, and Caddo Parish School Board.
Eligibility
Businesses with business net worth under $1.5 million and at least 51 percent ownership by individuals with personal net worth of $400,000 or less.
Requirements
- Complete notarized small business affidavit, vendor application, and small business registration form
- Return forms to the Caddo Parish Purchasing Division
- Meet ownership and net worth qualifications for certification
