About this program
Rebuild Rhode Island provides tax credits and, in some cases, sales tax exemptions or other support for eligible real estate development projects that need financing assistance and generate economic or community benefits.
Eligibility
Eligible real estate developers, businesses, nonprofits, and project sponsors with qualifying Rhode Island development projects, including Pawtucket projects.
Requirements
- Apply through Rhode Island Commerce before project commitments
- Submit project scope, sources and uses, financing gap, jobs, public benefit, and readiness information
- Meet underwriting, approval, reporting, and compliance requirements
