About this program
CFVI serves as administrator for the Emergency Food and Shelter Program in the U.S. Virgin Islands, enabling local organizations to apply for funding that supports emergency food, shelter, rent, mortgage, and utility assistance services.
Eligibility
Eligible local nonprofit organizations, faith-based organizations, and governmental agencies providing emergency food and shelter services in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Requirements
- Apply through CFVI when EFSP funding is available
- Document service history, eligible emergency assistance activities, budget, and compliance capacity
- Comply with EFSP board, reporting, audit, and eligible-use requirements
