About this program
Proyecto Aleli supports women, nonbinary, transgender, and gender nonconforming participants in starting small businesses through workshops, technical knowledge, empowerment, and business accompaniment in Mayaguez and nearby western Puerto Rico communities.
Eligibility
Participants who identify as women, nonbinary, transgender, or gender nonconforming and are residents of Rincon, Anasco, Aguada, or Mayaguez with a desire to start a small business.
Requirements
- Apply to Proyecto Aleli during an open class or intake period
- Describe business idea, entrepreneurial interest, residency, and participation readiness
- Participate in workshops, interviews, mentoring, and program activities
