Veteran Business Fund (VBF)

Nonprofit fund providing non-interest-bearing loans to veterans who cannot obtain bank financing due to lack of equity.

About this program

The Veteran Business Fund (VBF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides non-interest-bearing loans to U.S. veterans who need funding to open or expand a small business or franchise but cannot secure bank financing due to lack of equity. Loans are based on the business owner's personal equity contribution and are intended as a supplement to other types of small business financing. Repayment terms are five years or longer with no interest charged. VBF relies on donations and may not always accept new applications depending on available funds.
