Vermont STEP helps eligible small businesses pay for export development activities and international market expansion.
About this program
The Vermont State Trade Expansion Program helps Vermont small businesses begin exporting or expand into new international markets. The program is funded through the U.S. Small Business Administration and can support approved export development expenses such as trade shows, foreign market sales trips, export training, website globalization, translation, and international marketing activities.
Eligibility
Vermont small businesses that meet SBA STEP eligibility requirements and seek to begin exporting or expand export sales.
Requirements
- Business must be located in Vermont.
- Business must qualify as a small business under SBA standards.
- Applicant must be new to export or expanding into new international markets.
