About this program
The Downtown Ground Floor Growth initiative was launched with Columbus and downtown development partners to fill vacant storefronts and help entrepreneurs open downtown shops. The program provides rent support and related incentives within the target downtown area.
Eligibility
Eligible small businesses opening qualifying ground-floor downtown Columbus storefronts in the program area.
Requirements
- Open or expand into an eligible ground-floor downtown storefront
- Submit business information, lease or site details, budget, and program application materials
- Meet program requirements for occupancy, eligible costs, and reporting
