Boulder residents and businesses that install solar electric or solar thermal systems may be eligible for a rebate of a portion of city sales and use tax paid on solar materials and permits.
Eligibility
Boulder property owners, residents, or businesses installing eligible solar electric or solar thermal systems and paying applicable city sales or use taxes.
Requirements
- Install qualifying solar system and pay applicable city sales or use taxes
- Submit rebate application with permits, invoices, and proof of tax paid
- Meet program timing and documentation requirements
