About this program
SCORE Northeast NJ supports entrepreneurs and small business owners across Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Hudson, Morris, and surrounding northern New Jersey communities with free expert mentoring and practical business guidance. SCORE describes free confidential mentoring from experienced business leaders, workshops, and business education. For a restaurant operator, this is advisory and loan-readiness support that can strengthen a business plan, cost model, lease analysis, marketing plan, and lender pitch, but it is not direct financing.
Eligibility
Entrepreneurs and small business owners in the Northeast New Jersey service area may request SCORE mentoring and participate in SCORE workshops.
Requirements
- Founder or operator should request a SCORE mentor, provide location or business context for matching, use mentoring and workshops for planning and execution support, and treat the pathway as free advisory assistance rather than a grant, loan, or guaranteed financing source.
