About this program
The Rural Employment Expansion Program provides post-performance grant incentives for companies that create new high-paying jobs in rural Utah counties. Salt Lake City companies expanding rural operations may qualify when new jobs are created outside urban counties.
Eligibility
Utah businesses creating eligible new jobs in qualifying rural counties and meeting wage and program requirements.
Requirements
- Apply to GOEO before or during eligible job creation period
- Provide company information, rural location, job creation projections, wages, and payroll documentation
- Meet post-performance reporting and job retention requirements
