Solana Foundation Grants Program
Solana Foundation standard and convertible grants for open-source public goods and commercial projects in the Solana ecosystem.
About this program
The Solana Foundation Funding Program supports developers, creators, and founders building on Solana through two main vehicles. Standard grants (averaging ~$40,000) support open-source, non-commercial projects that generate public goods such as developer tooling, infrastructure, education, and protocol research. Convertible grants support commercial projects that may convert to investments only if they reach growth milestones like raising a priced round. The Foundation also runs targeted programs including a $2 million prediction markets fund (with Kalshi), Solana Mobile Builder Grants ($10K), and accelerator track top-ups (up to $50K for Y Combinator builders).
Eligibility
Individuals, teams, and organizations building on Solana. Open to global applicants including U.S.-based teams. Standard grants require open-source contribution or significant free community offering; convertible grants suit commercial builders.
