About this program
Boston's Legacy Business Program recognizes long-standing neighborhood businesses and connects designated businesses with targeted technical assistance, visibility, succession planning support, lease resources, and grant support intended to reduce displacement risk.
Eligibility
Independent Boston businesses that have operated in the city for at least 10 years and contribute to the cultural, historical, or community character of their neighborhood.
Requirements
- Receive a community nomination during the annual nomination period
- Complete the invited application if selected as a finalist
- Commit to maintaining operations in Boston
