About this program
New York State MWBE certification helps minority- and women-owned firms compete for state contracting opportunities, including consulting, legal, accounting, real estate, insurance, and other professional services contracts.
Eligibility
For-profit businesses that are at least 51 percent owned, operated, and controlled by eligible minority or women owners and meet New York State certification rules.
Requirements
- Applicants must submit ownership, control, business, tax, and supporting documentation through the New York State MWBE certification process.
