About this program
Advantage Maryland, also known as the Maryland Economic Development Assistance Authority and Fund, provides loans, grants, and conditional loans to support significant business attraction, expansion, retention, and economic development projects. Baltimore companies may qualify when projects meet state job, investment, and public benefit requirements.
Eligibility
Businesses and economic development projects in Maryland with significant job creation, retention, investment, or strategic economic benefit.
Requirements
- Coordinate with Maryland Commerce before project commitments
- Document project scope, jobs, wages, investment, financing, and public benefit
- Complete state approval, agreement, and reporting requirements
