City of Concord Brownfields Tax Abatement

About this program
Concord may grant brownfields tax abatements under New Hampshire RSA 76:19-a to encourage economic development projects on contaminated or potentially contaminated sites. The incentive can reduce property tax burdens associated with cleanup and reuse when a property is enrolled in the state brownfields program.
Eligibility
Eligible property owners and redevelopment projects involving Concord brownfields sites enrolled in the New Hampshire brownfields program.
Requirements
- Property must meet brownfield eligibility and be enrolled in the state brownfields program
- Submit property, cleanup, redevelopment, and economic benefit information for city review
- Receive Concord City Council approval and comply with abatement conditions
