About this program
Kalamazoo's Downtown Development Authority is a special purpose authority that supports development, improvements, and revitalization of the downtown business area through a tax increment financing district and related downtown investments.
Eligibility
Eligible downtown businesses, property owners, developers, and public partners with projects in the Kalamazoo DDA district.
Requirements
- Coordinate with the DDA or city staff
- Confirm district location and project alignment with downtown priorities
- Submit scope, budget, public benefit, and approval materials when support is available
