Michigan's Revitalization and Placemaking program has supported Battle Creek downtown redevelopment activities, including major mixed-use and community revitalization investments intended to strengthen walkable places and local economic activity.
Eligibility
Approved local redevelopment partners and property owners involved in eligible Battle Creek revitalization and placemaking projects.
Requirements
- Apply through eligible MEDC placemaking or RAP processes when funding rounds are open
- Submit project budget, site control, community impact, match, readiness, and local approval materials
- Meet state reporting and eligible cost requirements
