Reimburses Missouri employers up to $2,000 per employee for short-term industry-related credentials.
About this program
The Credential Training Program helps Missouri employers offset the cost of employees or prospective employees earning short-term, industry-related credentials. Approved employers receive preliminary award letters, employees then have 12 months to earn the credential, and the employer is reimbursed after submitting proof that the credential was successfully earned.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are Missouri employers of all sizes and industries seeking reimbursement for employee or prospective employee short-term, industry-related credential training.
Requirements
- Employer must apply during an open quarterly application month, such as July, October, January, or April.
- Credential must be short-term and industry-related.
- Employee or prospective employee must earn the credential within 12 months from the preliminary award letter.
