Kentucky Angel Investment Tax Credit
Provides tax credits to angel investors who invest in certified Kentucky small businesses.
About this program
The Kentucky Angel Investment Tax Credit encourages investment in Kentucky small businesses developing new products and technologies. Qualified small businesses must be certified by the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, and KEDFA allocates credits to qualified investors who make eligible capital investments in those companies.
Eligibility
Eligible participants include certified Kentucky qualified small businesses seeking angel investment and qualified investors making approved investments in those businesses.
Requirements
- Business must be certified as a Qualified Small Business for the applicable calendar year.
- Business must meet Kentucky small business and program eligibility requirements.
- Investor must be a qualified investor making an eligible capital investment.
