Alabama Jobs Act Investment Credit
Provides Alabama tax credits for approved capital investment projects that create jobs and meet state project requirements.
About this program
The Alabama Jobs Act Investment Credit supports qualifying projects that make significant capital investment in Alabama. Approved companies may receive an annual credit based on qualified capital investment for a defined period, subject to Department of Commerce approval, state project agreement terms, and annual certification.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are approved companies making qualifying capital investments in Alabama and meeting Alabama Jobs Act project, industry, wage, and job creation requirements.
Requirements
- Company must apply to and be approved by the Alabama Department of Commerce.
- Project must qualify under the Alabama Jobs Act.
- Company must make eligible capital investment in Alabama.
