About this program
Clean Cars 4 All provides income-qualified Bay Area residents with incentives to retire older high-polluting vehicles and replace them with cleaner vehicles or mobility options, reducing emissions in disadvantaged communities.
Eligibility
Income-qualified Bay Area residents, including Richmond residents, who own eligible older vehicles and meet program residency and vehicle requirements.
Requirements
- Apply through the Bay Area Air Quality Management District program
- Submit income documentation, vehicle registration, proof of ownership, and replacement option selection
- Retire the eligible vehicle through approved process
