About this program
The Connecticut Children Healthy Homes Program uses federal and state resources to help property owners and families make homes lead safe and healthier through inspections, remediation, and approved healthy housing repairs.
Eligibility
Eligible property owners and families with qualifying housing, health, lead hazard, or income conditions in Hartford and participating Connecticut communities.
Requirements
- Complete Healthy Homes intake or referral process
- Provide property, household, income, child, lead hazard, and ownership documentation as required
- Complete inspections and approved remediation or repair work with program oversight
