About this program
The South of Downtown Residential Rental Rehabilitation Program offers financial assistance per dwelling unit to owners of affordable residential rental properties in the area bounded by A, J, South 10th, and South 17th streets. The program supports rehabilitation of affordable rental housing and neighborhood stabilization.
Eligibility
Owners of eligible affordable residential rental properties in Lincoln’s South of Downtown target area.
Requirements
- Property must be located in the eligible South of Downtown area
- Maintain affordability and meet program property and tenant requirements
- Submit rehabilitation scope, cost documentation, ownership information, and comply with inspections
