West Virginia STEP Export Program
Reimburses eligible West Virginia small businesses for export promotion and international market development activities.
About this program
The West Virginia State Trade Expansion Program helps small businesses enter or expand in global markets by offsetting eligible export promotion costs. Supported activities can include foreign trade missions and trade shows, international market sales trips, U.S. Commercial Service subscriptions, website translation, compliance testing, international marketing, and export credit insurance premiums.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are West Virginia small businesses in good standing that meet SBA size standards and are seeking to begin or expand export activity.
Requirements
- Business must be an eligible West Virginia small business.
- Business must meet SBA size standards.
- Business must be in good standing with the West Virginia State Tax Department.
