About this program
The City of La Crosse Upper Floor Renovation Loan Program supports redevelopment of underused upper floors in commercial buildings. The program provides financing for eligible renovation costs that create residential, office, or commercial space above ground-floor storefronts, helping activate downtown and neighborhood commercial properties.
Eligibility
Property owners and developers with eligible upper-floor renovation projects in La Crosse commercial buildings may apply.
Requirements
- Project must be located in the City of La Crosse.
- Project must renovate or reactivate eligible upper-floor building space.
- Applicant must provide project scope, budget, financing plan, site control, and rehabilitation documentation.
