CRA business assistance that can help qualifying businesses offset rent costs in target redevelopment districts.
About this program
The City of Tampa CRA uses business assistance tools in redevelopment areas to support occupancy, storefront activation, and neighborhood-serving commercial activity. Rent assistance, where available by district and funding cycle, is intended to reduce early occupancy costs for businesses locating or expanding in eligible CRA areas.
Eligibility
Eligible businesses located in or moving into a participating Tampa CRA district.
Requirements
- Business location must be inside a participating CRA district
- Provide lease, business documentation, and requested financial information
- Meet district-specific program guidelines and approval requirements
