Colorado Rural Jump-Start offers tax relief to approved new businesses and employees locating in eligible rural or economically distressed counties and collaborating with a sponsoring institution, where available.
Eligibility
New businesses locating in approved eligible Colorado counties and communities, with projects approved by local governments, institutions of higher education, and OEDIT.
Requirements
- Confirm eligibility with local economic development partners and OEDIT
- Submit business plan, job creation, location, industry, and sponsoring institution documentation
- Receive approvals and comply with annual reporting and job creation requirements
