The Eugene D. Funk Grant Program provides financial assistance for preservation, restoration, or rehabilitation of exterior architectural features on historic properties in Bloomington. The program is administered by the Bloomington Historic Preservation Commission and funds up to 50% of eligible exterior project costs, with a maximum grant amount of $7,500 per project.
Eligibility
Owners of properties designated with Bloomington's S-4 Historic Preservation District zoning overlay may apply for eligible exterior preservation, restoration, or rehabilitation work.
Requirements
- Property must have the S-4 Historic Preservation District zoning overlay.
- Project must preserve, restore, or rehabilitate eligible exterior architectural features.
- Applicant must apply for and receive required Certificate of Appropriateness and grant approvals.
