About this program
Vermont's SSBCI Venture Capital Program allocates federal SSBCI funds to approved venture capital managers that invest in Vermont startups and early-stage companies with high growth potential. The program is designed to expand access to investment capital for Vermont companies throughout the state, including companies owned by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and to strengthen Vermont's startup ecosystem.
Eligibility
Early-stage and high-growth companies located in Vermont or with a qualifying Vermont nexus that are suitable for venture investment.
Requirements
- Company must be located in Vermont or demonstrate a qualifying Vermont economic nexus.
- Company must be suitable for venture capital investment and due diligence.
- Business must meet SSBCI small business eligibility requirements.
