Payments to Delaware farmland owners who sell development rights through agricultural conservation easements, permanently preserving farmland. The 2025 round preserved 36 properties (2,800+ acres) at a cost of $14.9 million.

Eligibility
Delaware farmland owners who first enroll in an Agricultural Preservation District (Phase 1) and then apply to sell development rights (Phase 2). The program appraises properties at no cost to the landowner.
