About this program
The Downtown Colorado Springs Development Authority can use tax increment financing tools to support projects and public improvements that advance downtown redevelopment, infrastructure, vitality, and private investment within the DDA plan area.
Eligibility
Developers, property owners, or project sponsors with eligible redevelopment or public improvement projects located within the DDA boundaries.
Requirements
- Engage Downtown Partnership and DDA staff early in project planning
- Provide project scope, public benefit, financing gap, budget, timeline, and legal documentation
- Receive DDA and city approvals and comply with development agreement requirements
