The Nebraska STEP Grant reimburses eligible small businesses for export development activities.
About this program
The Nebraska State Trade Expansion Program Grant helps Nebraska small businesses begin exporting or expand into new international markets. Administered by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development with federal SBA support, the program reimburses eligible export development costs such as trade shows, foreign market sales trips, translation, website globalization, and related approved activities. Awards are reimbursement-based and subject to federal and state export program rules.
Eligibility
Nebraska small businesses that meet SBA STEP eligibility requirements and seek to start or expand export sales.
Requirements
- Business must be located in Nebraska.
- Business must qualify as a small business under SBA standards.
- Applicant must be new to export or expanding to new export markets.
