About this program
InternNE helps Nebraska employers create internship opportunities by reimbursing a portion of eligible wages for approved interns. Lincoln employers can use the program to build talent pipelines and provide career experiences for students and recent graduates.
Eligibility
Eligible Nebraska for-profit businesses and nonprofit organizations offering qualifying internships.
Requirements
- Apply for intern position approval before internship begins
- Provide employer, intern, wage, job duty, and internship documentation
- Submit reimbursement documentation and comply with program reporting requirements
