About this program
The Industrial Development Grant Fund provides assistance to Indiana municipalities and other eligible entities for off-site infrastructure improvements needed to serve proposed project sites. After IEDC approval, project-specific milestones are established and a portion of actual infrastructure improvement costs is reimbursed as milestones are achieved.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are Indiana municipalities and other eligible local recipients that need off-site infrastructure improvements to serve a proposed business project site.
Requirements
- Applicant must be a municipality or other eligible entity under Indiana law.
- Infrastructure improvements must be off-site improvements needed to serve a proposed project site.
- Eligible infrastructure may include publicly owned property, utilities, airport facilities, tourist attractions, sewer lines, waterlines, roads, sidewalks, rail spurs, or fiber infrastructure.
