About this program
Greensboro is the lead entity for the Greensboro/Guilford County HOME Consortium and uses HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds to expand affordable housing through development, rehabilitation, homeownership, rental assistance, and nonprofit housing partner projects.
Eligibility
Affordable housing developers, nonprofit housing organizations, CHDOs, and public partners serving income-qualified households in Greensboro or the HOME consortium area.
Requirements
- Meet HOME income, affordability, eligible cost, and property standards
- Submit site control, development budget, financing plan, and long-term affordability commitments
- Complete underwriting, environmental review, relocation, and federal compliance requirements
