Ontario’s Downtown Retail Pop-Up Program gives small businesses and entrepreneurs an opportunity to expand into brick-and-mortar retail without high startup costs as part of the city’s downtown renaissance and business activation strategy.
Eligibility
Small businesses and entrepreneurs seeking to grow into a brick-and-mortar retail presence in Downtown Ontario under current program availability and city selection rules.
Requirements
- Apply during a City of Ontario Pop-Up Retail Program application round
- Provide business concept, product or service, operating plan, owner information, and readiness details
- Meet lease, insurance, sales, storefront, and program participation requirements
