About this program
The Maui County Agricultural Micro Grant Program, administered by Maui Economic Opportunity, supports small food-producing farms and ranches with grants for equipment, machinery, processing, storage, infrastructure, expansion, upgrades, inventory, supplies, packaging, and technology.
Eligibility
Maui County food-producing farms on 12 acres or less and livestock ranches up to 40 acres with a Hawaii general excise license, with preference for women and Native Hawaiians.
Requirements
- Meet acreage, agricultural production, and licensing requirements
- Submit application and all required documentation through MEO
- Use grant funds for approved agricultural goods or services paid through program vendors
