About this program
USDA's Value-Added Producer Grant helps agricultural producers plan and implement value-added activities, including processing, marketing, feasibility studies, working capital, and local food market expansion. Nampa-area food and agriculture producers may use the program to expand branded, processed, or differentiated products.
Eligibility
Independent agricultural producers, producer groups, farmer cooperatives, and majority-controlled producer-based businesses.
Requirements
- Meet USDA producer and value-added activity eligibility
- Submit business plan, work plan, budget, and matching funds documentation
- Use funds for eligible planning or working capital activities
