Greater Portland Immigrant Welcome Center (GPIWC) – Immigrant Business Hub & Microloan
The GPIWC Immigrant Business Hub provides free business development counseling, training seminars, co-working space, mentorship, and connections with the business community to immigrant entrepreneurs in Portland; also provides microloans of up to $10,000 to immigrant-owned businesses in Maine with mentorship included; 14,659 people employed by immigrant-owned businesses in Greater Portland as of 2021; confirmed active on Maine DECD resource page.

Eligibility
Immigrant entrepreneurs and business owners in the Greater Portland area and Maine; immigrant status is the primary eligibility criterion; all business stages welcome.
